Cosmic Debris Etc., Inc. (“Cosmic”), and
Buzz Parker Enterprises (“BPE”), are concerned
about your privacy and want you to be familiar with
how they collect, use and share your information. BPE
collects this information when you access the one of
the Cosmic Debris Web sites (the “Sites”),
when you make a purchase, and when you sign up for or
use the various services (the “Services”)
offered on the Site. Some of this information is collected
automatically and some is collected only when you provide
it voluntarily. BPE operates the Sites and Services
on behalf of Cosmic.
What Types of Information
Do We Collect From You?
Personally Identifiable Information. Personally
identifiable information is information that identifies
you as an individual, such as your name, mailing address,
phone number, and email address (“Personally Identifiable
Information”). When you sign up for a newsletter,
use a Service or make a purchase, BPE may collect Personally
Identifiable Information from you. BPE also may collect
Personally Identifiable Information that you voluntarily
provide when you use the Sites or Services, that you
may disclose in a public area of the Site (such as a
message board or chat room) or that you may include
if you communicate with BPE or Cosmic.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information. BPE
also collects information from you automatically when
you use the Sites or Services. However, the information
that BPE collects automatically does not contain Personally
Identifiable Information. The automatically collected
information is information such as the URL of the previous
Web site you visited and the pages you view on the Sites.
BPE also collects information that does not include
Personally Identifiable Information when you voluntarily
provide it (such as in response to a questionnaire or
survey) or post it to a public area of the Site (such
as a message board or chat room).
How Do We Automatically
Collect Information?
Cookies. A cookie is a message that is sent to
your computer from a Web server and stored on your computer's
hard drive. Our cookies do not contain Personally Identifiable
Information. BPE uses cookies to allow you to store
items in your shopping cart from all of the Sites and
to track which pages you visit at the Sites.
IP Address. An IP address is a number that is
assigned to your computer automatically when you use
the Internet. BPE logs your IP address when you use
the Sites or a Service. BPE uses your IP address to
track your use of the Sites and Services.
How Do We Use Your
Information?
Personally Identifiable Information. BPE uses
your Personally Identifiable Information to send you
newsletters or information that you request and to fulfill
your purchases.
Aggregate Information. BPE combines your usage
information for the Site and Service with that of other
users to determine which areas of the Site and which
Services are most popular. By collecting and analyzing
this data, BPE can improve the Site and Services. This
"Aggregate Information" does not contain any
of your Personally Identifiable Information.
Who Do We Share Your Information With?
Aggregate Information. BPE shares Aggregate Information
with potential partners and other interested third parties
in connection with the marketing of BPE’s products
and services. However, Aggregate Information does not
include any of your Personally Identifiable Information.
Cosmic Debris. BPE shares your Personally Identifiable
Information with Cosmic, on whose behalf BPE operates
the Sites and Services.
Other Sharing. BPE may also disclose your Personally
Identifiable Information if it determines that an applicable
law, regulation or legal process requires it, or if
BPE determines that it needs to share such information
to protect or enforce BPE or Cosmic’s rights or
the rights of another user.
What Options Do You
Have To Control The Use Of Your Information?
Receiving Communications And Opting Out. You
can choose not to receive newsletters by sending an
email to unsub@cosmicdebris.com from the email address
where you no longer wish to receive the newsletter.
What About Kids' Personal
Information?
BPE and Cosmic are especially concerned about the privacy
of children. In addition to the other information contained
in this Privacy Policy, this paragraph is intended to
give parents and kids additional information about how
BPE and Cosmic handle personal information from children
under 13.
Operator of the Site and Service. BPE is the
operator of the Sites and Services, and does so on behalf
of Cosmic. Cosmic designs and manufactures clothing,
accessories and other products under the brands: EMILY THE STRANGE and
OOPSY DAISY. BPE acts on its own
behalf and as the representative of Cosmic for all inquiries

Third-Party Disclosure of Children’s Information.
CDE and BPE do not provide children’s personally
Identifiable Information to third parties.
Children’s Participation in Activities.
BPE and Cosmic cannot condition a child’s participation
in an activity on the child’s disclosure of more
Personally Identifiable Information than is reasonably
necessary to participate in the activity.
Parent’s Access to Children’s Information.
Parents can do any of the following by sending an email
to BPE or calling BPE at the address and telephone number
listed above:
- review their child’s personal information;
- request that BPE delete their child’s personal
information; or
- request that BPE and Cosmic stop collecting personal
information from their child by blocking the child’s
email address from areas of the Sites and Services
where Personally Identifiable Information is collected.
Please note that BPE may require authenticity of the
parent’s identity before disclosing a child’s
personal information.
What Else Should I
Know About Privacy?
Security. We maintain security measures in place
in order to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse
and alteration of the Personally Identifiable Information
under our control. Please be advised, however, that
the Internet and other various networking communication
media are not entirely secure, and your information
may therefore be subject to interception or loss which
is beyond our control. Accordingly, BPE and Cosmic assume
no responsibility or liability for disclosure of your
information (personally identifiable or otherwise) due
to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party
access or other causes beyond BPE and Cosmic’s
reasonable control.
Third Parties. BPE does not control the privacy
policies of third parties that have Web sites linked
to the Sites or Services. If you click on a link, the
privacy policies of the Web site that you link to will
govern the use of your information by that Web site’s
operator. BPE and Cosmic assume no responsibility or
liability for the actions of such third parties with
respect to their use of your information or otherwise.
Accordingly, make sure you are aware of and comfortable
with the privacy policies of any third-party Web sites
you link to.
Disclosure Of Information In Public Areas. If
you voluntarily disclose Personally Identifiable Information
in a public area of the Sites or a Service, such as
a forum, chat room or message board, that information
may be collected and used by a third party to send you
unsolicited messages, advertisements or for other purposes.
BPE does not control the actions of users in public
areas of the Sites or Services. If you disclose Personally
Identifiable Information in a public area, you do so
at your own risk.
Acceptance Of Privacy
Policy
When you use the Sites or Services, you are accepting
the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, and
BPE and Cosmic will have the right to use your information
as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree
to have your information used in any of the ways described
in this Privacy Policy, you must discontinue use of
the Site and Service. BPE and Cosmic reserve the right
to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Your continued
use of the Sites or Services after BPE either personally
notifies you or generally posts such changes on the
Sites will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
